We use it because it is the best product we have found. The 1/2 ounce size contains enough wax to do 100 pens or 1 pen 100 times. Renaissance Wax 1/2 ounce container $9.50 each Simply apply a thin coat to your pen, metal and all. Let stand until dry, then buff with a soft cloth. The result is truly remarkable. Renaissance Wax was originally developed, under the direction of international conservationists, by a scientist from the British Museum. His studies concluded that existing polishes based on beeswax or carnauba wax would cause damage when acids arose spontaneously through oxidation or hydrolysis. The formula he invented is a semi-synthetic micro-crystalline fossil-origin wax, free of damaging acids. Renaissance Wax cleans beautifully and remains crystal clear through unlimited applications. It buffs easily to a hard, transparent finish. Renaissance Wax provides a barrier against fingerprints and the devastation of water, wine, alcohol and other sources of moisture. LASER ENGRAVING We have access to laser engraving at an additional cost of $15.00 per pen. All engraving is done using the New Times Roman Italicized font on the cap (upper barrel) of the pen. You must send us an email of the exact name or wording (maximum of 15 letters and spaces) spelled correctly, with upper and lower case, as desired. We will forward your email to the engraver so that no transcription mistake is made. Engraving will delay your shipment by 7 - 10 days.
